The Simcoe County Association for the Physically
Disabled receives a variety of grants, contracts, donation and
fundraising revenue to assist in offering our services throughout
Simcoe County.
Our major funding source is the NSM Local Health Integration Network, which directs funds from the Ontario Ministry of
Health & Long Term Care. This funding supports our Supportive Housing and
Outreach Programs, the Accessibility Resource Centre and many of the Association's administrative
functions.
Other funding sources include the United Way of Greater
Simcoe County, Ontario Trillium Foundation, donations and membership
fees, and revenue from fundraising initiatives. This funding is used to
support a variety of programs sponsored through the Association
including Public Education, Accessibility Consultations, Community Development and Volunteer
and Information Services.
